WHAT IS FRENCH TOAST, PRECIOUS??
According to a collection of recipes from the early 5th century AD, the dish we now know as French toast existed as early as the age of the Roman Empire. In their style of French toast Romans would soak bread in a milk and egg mixture, then fry it in oil or butter.

French Toast Feed

SUNDAY, JUN 12 AT 8 AM

Please join the Avoca Volunteer Fire Department at the Town Hall for our French toast feed!!

The funds raised at this event will be going towards the purchase of much needed life saving equipment to better serve our community.

We will be serving French toast, biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, and your choice of sausage or bacon.

Coffee, orange juice, and water will also be provided.

Since we will be across the street from the Fire Station, we will also be having an Open House at the station and the trucks will be pulled out for everyone to see.

The fundraiser will be held at Town Hall.
