Limestone Day was held Saturday in Weeping Water. The heat wave finally broke, and it was great to have some nice weather again! Terry and I took our Bloom Where You're Planted Farm float through the parade with the help of our brother-in-law, Greg, who drove the pickup which pulled our antique wagon.
There's nothing that says "Americana" quite like a parade...
There was a CRAZY amount of kids on Main Street along the route!
After the parade we had lunch at the ball field, then went home to unload everything and work in the pumpkin patch for awhile. We went back in the evening for the Chamber of Commerce BBQ, then drove in again around 10:00 p.m. for the fireworks.
This weekend its off to Murdock for their 4th of July parade. I'll post a schedule later in the newsletter...maybe we'll see you there!
